Advanced Foreign Service Program for Foreign Diplomats kicks off in Baku

The international training Advanced Foreign Service Program for Foreign Diplomats - 2023, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AlDA) and ADA University at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, started its work in Baku today, Report informs.

Diplomats from 22 countries (Italy, Malta, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Russia, Poland, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, India, Thailand, Ghana, Cambodia, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Guyana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Timor-Leste, Cuba and Argentina) take part in the program aimed at developing human capital and strengthening cooperation at the international level.

It is expected that the program will last until June 24. As part of the program, it is also planned to hold introductory meetings in several government institutions, as well as visits to historical and cultural sites.

The program, organized for the 6th time this year, has been implemented since 2018. Over the past years, 74 foreign diplomats from 46 countries have taken part in the program.
