8th Meeting of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Intergovernmental Commission to be held soon

The 8th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Intergovernmental Commission is set to take place in the near future, Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at an event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Report informs.

Minister Sharifov emphasized the successful development of relations between the two countries, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations.

"We express our gratitude to Saudi Arabia for consistently supporting Azerbaijan's position [on the Karabakh issue - ed.] on various international platforms," he stated.

The minister highlighted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia continues to flourish thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both nations. The Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Intergovernmental Commission plays a significant role in deepening this collaboration across all spheres, including energy, agriculture, and more.
