52 delegations of OSCE countries condemn terrorist attack on Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran

The January 27 terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran was discussed today at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the OSCE Rovshan Sadigbayli, Report informs.

"The armed attack on our embassy in Iran was raised at today's meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council. I'm grateful to the 52 delegations to the OSCE who, together with Azerbaijan, condemned this attack, expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and called for a prompt investigation," Sadigbayli said.

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran came under a deadly attack on the morning of January 27.

The attacker broke through the security post of the diplomatic mission and killed the head of the security service with a Kalashnikov rifle. Two embassy security guards were also injured while repelling the attack.
