27th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijani and Georgia

Azerbaijan and Georgia established diplomatic relations on November 18, 1992. Georgian bureau of Report informs that the Georgian embassy started to operate in Baku in February 1995 and Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tbilisi opened in March 1996.

Since January 2017, Dursun Hasanov has been serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the neighboring country, and Zurab Pataradze as the Georgian ambassador in Azerbaijan from August 2018.

The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Batumi, Georgia, has been operating since 2010. The Consul General of Azerbaijan in Batumi is Parviz Ismailzade.

The Georgian Consulate in Ganja opened in 2013. Nikoloz Iashvili serves as Consul General of Georgia to Ganja. There are more than 100 documents signed between the countries.
