Vorskla not to bring Armenian footballer to match against Qarabag - OFFICIAL

Baku. 18 October. REPORT.AZ/ Footballer of Ukraine Vorskla team Gegham Kadymyan will not come to Baku for the match against Qarabag in the fourth round match of the Europa League, spokesman of Poltava representative Andrey Ivanov said. According to Report, he said the reason is that the 26-year-old forward has got trauma. The club official said that midfielder Georgi Kobakhidze and forward Denis Vasili will also miss the upcoming match for the same reason.

Ivanov also commented on the allegations that Kadymyan would not participate in the match against Qarabag due to the political issues: "Football should not intersect with politics, and I personally respect all nationalities. Even despite Russia's attitude to Ukraine, we would not mind if there were Russian players within the team." It is nonsense to speak about political factor when the player is injured.

Notably, Qarabag and Vorksla will encounter at the Baku Olympic Stadium on October 25, and the away match will be on November 8 at the stadium named after Aleksey Butovski. Earlier England's Arsenal did not bring Armenian footballer Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Baku.
