The official representative of the organization also assessed the chances of the national teams of Azerbaijan and Hungary, who will meet in the finals of the World Cup.
- The teams of Azerbaijan and Hungary will meet in the finals of the World Cup. What do you think about this?
- This is good news for Azerbaijan. It would be even better news for your country if you won the decisive match. Hungary is a very good team. They have experienced footballers. It can already be predicted that the final match will be very difficult.
- Which team's chances do you rate higher?
- It should be taken into account that the game starts with a score of 0:0. Whoever scores more goals will win. We believe that the fans gathered at the National Gymnastics Arena will witness an interesting final.
- What can you say about the organization of the World Cup?
- The best World Cup was organized in Baku. But the competition is not over yet. I believe that the atmosphere of the final match will be remembered for even more grandiose moments.
- The quarterfinal match between Azerbaijan and England was watched by 7,007 fans. This is an absolute record in the history of the World Cup. Did you expect this in advance?
- Previously, the best indicator was recorded at the opening match of the European Championship in the Slovak city of Kosice - in the match between Slovakia and Belgium. That match was watched live by 6,513 fans. When Azerbaijan took first place in that tournament, we already understood that this country would be one of the best organizers. I congratulate the local organizing committee on the attendance record in Baku. But, as I emphasized earlier, the competition is not over yet.
- How can the organization in Baku become a positive example for other countries?
- Previously held competitions were a good example for Azerbaijan. Your country has prepared very well for the World Cup. I believe that other countries, looking at Azerbaijan, will also be inspired. Everyone saw that minifootball is very popular in Baku.
