UK team captain Ben Long said that the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku has created all the necessary conditions for athletes.
The footballer told Report that this gives his team high motivation in preparation for the Minifootball World Cup games.
He also assessed the past match against Bulgaria, in which the UK team reached the quarter-finals.
"This was the most difficult match we played in the tournament. The opponents have many good players. When we were leading, we retreated to defense. But, unfortunately, we couldn't maintain the winning score. Penalties are a lottery, and we emerged victorious. We may have the strongest goalkeeper in the tournament. We are happy with the victory," he emphasized.
The UK team faced the Bulgarian team in the 1/8 finals, and the regular time of the match ended with a score of 2:2.
The UK team, which was more accurate in penalties (3:1), advanced to the next stage.
