Three unidentified players from the Argentine football club Boca Juniors have tested positive for syphilis, a sexually transmitted infection, Report informs via Cronica TV.
The revelation came after a medical examination of 34 team members last week. The results indicated that three players were afflicted by the disease. The coaching staff and the club's management have been informed, though the club's press service has declined to comment on the matter.
Notably, with 27 rounds left in the Argentine championship, Boca Juniors is currently in 6th place on the tournament table with 42 points.
