Qarabag set new record in history of Azerbaijan championships

Having beaten Gabala with a score of 5:1 in the 18th round of the Premier League of Azerbaijan, Qarabag set a new record.

Report informs citing the official website of the Professional Football League that the Aghdam club scored three or more goals in home matches for the 118th time in the history of the country's championships.

This is a new record in the history of the competition since 1992. Qarabag left behind Neftchi with a score of 117 goals.

It should be noted that Qarabag played their first home match with three or more goals on May 6, 1992. Thirty years ago, the team upset Kurdamir's Shirvan with a score of 6:0.
