Baku. 4 July. REPORT.AZ/ Qarabag has transferred Hannes Halldorsson, the goalkeeper of the Iceland national team from Danish Randers.
Report informs, while official website of Aghdam’s club shared a photo of the 34-year-old goalkeeper, but the terms and details of the contract were not disclosed. Halldorsson explained the reason it his transfer to the official site of Randers: "I'm very satisfied with the period which I spent here: I felt good in Randers and in the city with the same name. Randers is a beautiful city and it was not easy to leave here. But now I am 34-year old. Now it is time to try new things and go on a new adventure. I would like to thank the club and everyone who has been together for two years. I hope that everything will be better for Randers in the future. "
Notably, Hannes Halldorsson has attached more attention by defeating Lionel Messi's penalty at a meeting with Argentina in the squad of Iceland at the World Cup in Russia.
