The forward of Marseille FC Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé given to the best African player of the season in the French championship, Report informs via Sport News Africa.
This is the 2nd time Aubameyang has won the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé.

Top African scorer in the French league this season with 16 goals, the Olympique de Marseille striker has rediscovered his goalscoring sensations at the age of 34.
Logically, he was voted by a panel of 80 journalists for this distinction, far, far ahead of the competition. The Gabonese scored 252 points, ahead of PSG's Moroccan Achraf Hakimi (136 points) and Lille's Algerian midfielder Nabil Bentaleb (112 points).
Aubemeyang succeeds his OM team-mate Chancel Mbemba of Congo. He also joins the very select circle of players to have won the Prix Foé twice, since only the Ivorian Gervinho (2010 and 2011) had achieved such a feat since the trophy's inception.
