Macron, PSG President miss Mbappe's farewell dinner

French forward Kylian Mbappe, who announced his departure from PSG at the end of the current season, organized a farewell dinner in the center of Paris for 250 people, according to Le Parisien, Report informs.

Mbappe's teammates and PSG staff were among the 250 guests.

French leader Emmanuel Macron and PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi were invited to the event, even though, according to various sources, Mbappe had a conflict with Al-Khelaifi. In the end, none of them attended the footballer's farewell dinner.

On May 10, 25-year-old Kylian Mbappe announced his departure from PSG on his social media after his contract expires on June 10 this year. The Frenchman did not reveal his future club, but the striker will most probably join Real Madrid, signing a five-year deal earning between 15 to 20 million euros per season.

Mbappe has played for PSG since the summer of 2017. He has won the French title six times and the French Cup three times with the club. He also won the World Cup with France in 2018 and was runner-up in 2022.

French forward Kylian Mbappe shared his thoughts about the future after deciding to leave the Parisian club at the end of the 2023/24 season.
