"Ludogorets" refuses to sell its forward to Azerbaijani club

Baku. 30 January. REPORT.AZ/ Bulgarian "Ludogorets" FC has refused to sell Juninho Quixadá to one of the leading clubs of Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the Meridian Match, the offer from unnamed club was satisfactory for Brazilian forward. However, leadership has managed to persuade Brazilian footballer to stay at last minute.

Head coach Georgi Dermendzhiev taking into account the intense game schedule, wanted to have two players in every position. 32-year-old forward will no longer play as a center forward, but behind the striker.

Notably, Juninho Quixadá scored 30 goals in 114 matches with "Ludogorets" so far. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2018. "Ludogorets" finished Champions League in 3rd place, and reached the 1/16 final of the Europa League. 

The opponent of Razgrad team will be Denmark's Copenhagen.
