L’Équipe recently reported that Paris Saint-Germain had engaged in talks with Mohamed Salah’s representatives, with the 32-year-old forward said to be more open to a move to the Ligue 1 champions. This development has reignited speculation about a potential transfer to Paris.

However, PSG quickly dismissed the rumors, with a club spokesperson telling the French outlet, “It’s not true.” The report also suggests that Salah might leverage the speculation to strengthen his hand in ongoing contract talks with Liverpool.

Football Insider recently revealed that Salah aims for a lucrative contract extension to keep him at Anfield until 2027. The Egyptian star reportedly seeks an additional three years as part of the deal.

French journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a summer move for Mohamed Salah, with the club reportedly ready to offer the Liverpool star a three-year contract worth €500,000 per week.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s proposal to retain Salah’s services is said to be a two-year deal valued at €400,000 per week, potentially leaving room for PSG to swoop in.

Salah is proving yet again why he’s one of Europe’s elite this season. The Liverpool forward has already racked up 20 goals and 17 assists in just 26 appearances across all competitions, underlining his status as a standout performer in the 2024-25 campaign.
