Israel punched its ticket to the Round of 16 at the WMF World Cup with a decisive 4–2 win over Spain in Group H action on Monday at the National Gymnastics Arena.
According to Report, the victory puts Israel at six points, enough to guarantee a place in the knockout stage. Spain, meanwhile, sees its tournament run cut short, finishing the group with just three points and bowing out of the competition.
Group H action will wrap up later today at 07:30 pm (GMT+4) with Serbia taking on Ghana. Serbia also sits on six points, and Ghana has two straight defeats.
The WMF World Cup in Baku continues to deliver drama, with the final set for June 1.
