Incident took place between manager and player before Qarabag APOEL match

A conflict occurred before the UEFA Europa League group stage match (APOEL - Qarabag) in Baku.

Report informs that footballer from the guest team, Musa al-Tamari, expressed a strong protest to head coach Thomas Doll after finding out that he was not included into the starting lineup.

The next morning, the 22-year-old Jordanian player did not join the team's meeting. Angry with his act, Doll removed Tamari from the squad.

The game that took place at the Republican Stadium named after Tofig Bahramov ended in a draw - 2: 2.

Notably, after three rounds in group A, the Spanish Sevilla is leading with 9 points. Qarabag FC with 4 points takes the second place, “Dudelange” (Luxembourg ) with 3 points in third place, and APOEL is the last with 1 point.
