Head coach of the Azerbaijani national team Elshad Guliyev has commented on the victory over the UK team, which secured the team a ticket to the semi-finals of the Minifootball World Cup, Report informs.
He expressed gratitude to those who supported the team during the games.
He emphasized that Azerbaijani football players showed a good game: "We gained a great victory. I express my gratitude to everyone who supported us, to the Azerbaijani people. The game was difficult. In the semi-finals, we will face the Montenegro team. I hope that we will win that match and reach the finals."
Azerbaijan reached the semi-finals, beating the UK team with a score of 2:1.
