Ecuadorian defender joins AC Milan

AC Milan announced the signing of Pervis Estupinan has joined the club on a permanent basis from Brighton & Hove Albion FC, according to a statement, Report informs.

The Ecuadorian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2030.

Born in Esmeraldas (Ecuador) on 21 January 1998, Estupinan started his footballing journey in LDU Quito's youth system. He made his first-team debut for La U in September 2015 and went on to make 45 appearances for the club. He then had spells at Granada, Almería, Mallorca and Osasuna before joining Villarreal. With the Submarino Amarillo, he made 74 appearances and won the Europa League.

In the summer of 2022, he moved to Brighton and went on to score five goals in 104 games for the Seagulls. He made his full international debut for Ecuador in 2019; to date, he has 48 caps and four goals for La Tri.

Pervis Estupinan will wear the number 2 shirt.
