Azerbaijan's FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has received a new appointment from UEFA.
According to the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), Agayev will be the referee for the Sturm (Austria) vs Club Brugge (Belgium) match in the second round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
He will be assisted by Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali. Tural Gurbanov will serve as the fourth official. The VAR referees for the match will be David Coote and Stuart Attwell from England.
The match will kick off at 23:00 Baku time (GMT+4) on October 2 at the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt, Austria.
