Azerbaijani national player freed from Bursaspor's main squad as not aplogized

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ The reason of exclusion of Azerbaijani national player Deniz Yılmaz from main squad of the Turkish club “Bursaspor” has been revealed. 

Report informs, club’s president Ali Ay told a local TV channel.

He told that, 29-year-old forward was punished because he hadn’t apologized to his teammates, managers and “Bursaspor” community after his red card in Super League match against “Kayserispor”. The club's president told that he had a talk with captains after disappointing results. According to him, captains told that they didn’t have good preparation period in winter break, and expressed sorrow for exclusion of Yılmaz and Sercan Yıldırım: “Frankly speaking, I liked it. Their support for teammates is good in terms of team spirit”.

Notably, “Bursaspor” positioned 9th with 28 points after 21 games. Deniz Yilmaz was shown a direct red card at 19th minute of “Kayserispor” game after his intentional fault against opponent. Outnumbered “crocodiles” lost the game - 0:2.
