Azerbaijani footballer named USL Championship Player of Week - VIDEO

Azerbaijani footballer Rufat Dadashov has been declared the USL Championship's Player of the Week for Week 1 of the 2020 season.

The Phoenix Rising FC forward earned 52 percent of the ballot, Report informs.

Dadashov netted a hat trick in his Rising debut en route to a 6-1 victory over Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday. The 29-year-old forward was transferred to Phoenix Rising FC from the German club 'Preussen Münster' on January 11.
