Unai Emery issues apology after kicking bottle at Brighton fan after Arsenal draw

Baku. 27 December. REPORT.AZ/ Unai Emery issued an apology to a Brighton fan after he accidentally hit him with a bottle as Arsenal were held to a draw on the south coast.

Report informs that the Gunners boss was frustrated on the final whistle after his side threw away two points at the Amex Stadium, and kicked out at a water bottle.

The bottle collided with a Brighton supporter - although it apparently wasn't kicked with much force - standing behind the managers dugouts.

Emery immediately made his way over to the fan, and held out his hand in apology. The supporter dealt with the situation well and accepted the hand of the Arsenal boss.

Emery was asked about the incident in his post-match press conference, where he played it down.

"I said to them apologies because I kick the bottle after a disappointing action for us in the last minutes," explained Emery.
