Former head coach of Azerbaijani team complains to CAS against Kenya Football Federation

Baku. 3 January. REPORT.AZ/ Adel Amrouche, the former head coach of Sumgayit's now-defunct Ganjlarbirliyi team, has filed a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

Report informs that the national association did not pay a compensation for termination of a contract with the 50-year-old Algerian specialist who led the Kenyan squad back in 2013-2014. After Amrus appealed to FIFA, on January 25 last year the court directed FKF to pay the 50-year-old, within 30 days, the Sh60 million plus 5 percent per annum of the said amount as from March 4, 2016 until the date of the end of his deal (January 2019).

But the federation did not make any payments and even appealed to the CAS against the court decision.

The court hearing on both appeals will be held on February 6.

Notably, Adel Amrouche was the head coach of Ganjlarbirliyi FC in 2005. At home now, he is heading the team Aljir.
