World Bank improves its forecast for economic growth in Georgia

The World Bank has raised its forecast for Georgia's economic growth in 2024 from 4.8% to 5.2%, Report informs.

The bank also raised its economic growth forecast for 2025 from 4.5% to 5%.

“Despite the decline in remittances, investments, as well as the tourism sector, are expected to support economic growth in Georgia. With monetary policy gradually easing, inflation is projected to reach the targeted 3% by the end of 2024,” the bank said.
