Analyses show that the ratio of Azerbaijan’s public debt to its gross domestic product (GDP) is within the target range, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan Vugar Gulmammadov said, Report informs.
Gulmammadov made the statement during the discussions of the bill on amending the law "On the implementation of the 2024 state budget" at the plenary session of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) today.
"In the budget bill, the state bodies commented on the main fiscal risks. The chamber's analyses show that these fiscal risks did not lead to adverse outcomes over a five-month period, and some of the risks were mitigated," Gulmammadov added.
