Turkiye’s central bank keeps key rate unchanged for first time since July

The Central Bank of Turkiye has kept its key rate at 9%, Report informs with reference to Anadolu Agency.

Earlier, the regulator lowered the rate from 14% to 9%.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier announced that the inflation rate will decline already this month.

“Inflation rates will reach 30% by mid-2023, and drop to 20% by the end of next year,” the politician said.
