The Trade Ministry of Türkiye has included Azerbaijan in its list of target countries for exports in 2025, Report informs, referring to the ministry.
This year, a total of 55 countries have been included in the list, among them Germany, the US, the United Arab Emirates, the UK, China, France, South Korea, Iraq, Qatar, Libya, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.
This status allows countries to receive additional support in their mutual trade with Türkiye.
The list, approved by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, is sent to the General Secretariat of the Foreign Economic Relations Board, the Turkish Export-Credit Bank, and the General Secretariat of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.
In 2024, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Türkiye amounted to $6.13 billion, with exports at $3.82 billion and imports at $2.31 billion.
