Notably, at the beginning of this week, US dollar rate in Turkey was 4.5 liras. At the end of the day, it rose to 4.8 liras.
Compared to the beginning of the year, lira depreciated by 20.27% against US dollar. In terms of depreciation against US currency, the Turkish national currency rate is behind of Argentine Peso. From the beginning of the year the national currency of Latin America has dropped by 23.32% against US dollar.
