Total cost of communication services in Azerbaijan increases by 13%

In the first half of 2023, the cost of services provided by enterprises operating in the information and communications sector of Azerbaijan increased by 12.9% in real terms compared to the same period last year and amounted to 1,429.6 million manats ($840.94 million), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, 76.4% of the services were provided to consumers in the population category.

During the reporting period, 38.5% or 550.5 million manats ($323.8 million) of income from the services was generated in the mobile telephony sector.
