Stock indices in Europe rise

Stock indices in Europe are growing on Thursday, as markets are evaluating statistical data, Report informs.

The British FTSE 100 index rose by 0.83% to 7,651.63 points, the French CAC 40 went up by 0.4% to 7,356.25 points, and the German DAX increased by 0.31% to 16,158.85 points.

A day earlier, the UK statistics agency reported that annual inflation in the UK slowed to 7.9% in June from 8.7% a month earlier, while analysts had forecast it at 8.2%. Consumer prices rose 0.1% month-on-month against the expected 0.4% increase.

In addition, according to Eurostat, annual inflation in the Eurozone, per the final estimate, slowed down to 5.5% in June from 6.1% a month earlier, as shown by the preliminary estimate.
