Stock market of Azerbaijan sharply reduced

Baku. 6 June. REPORT.AZ/ In January-May 2016,total turnover of transactions on all instruments in Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) was 1 458 648 788 30 AZN.

Report informs referring to BSE, compared with the same period last year, a sharp decrease (-4,31 times) was observed. At the same period last year the figure was 6 280 337 420,42 AZN.

During this period, the state securities market increased by 16.1 times from 14 914 881,15 AZN to 240 232 568,18 AZN.Share market fell by 21.6 times from 130 977 876,2 AZN to 6 059 297,87 AZN, debt instruments decreased by 28.9 times from 952 916 727,73 AZN to 32 985 876,27 AZN.
