Baku.16 September. REPORT.AZ/ The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) continues funding the ongoing projects.
Report informs, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said: "Issuing the bonds, we are going to redirect interest payments on borrowed funds from foreign markets to domestic."
According to the head of the company, SOCAR could attract external funds at 2.5% per annum, but has taken this step in the interests of Azerbaijanii citizens: "The population has no financial instruments to invest money, except the banks. We have provided the public a tool to have an income."
