Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ Though more than a month is left to the next interest payment, SOCAR bonds have been sold at a record price.
SOCAR bonds’ marketmaker PSG Capital told Report that SOCAR bonds were sold at $1,032 on December 5. This is the highest price since the bonds were issued.
The sale of bonds at high price is linked to sharp increase of demand on them.
SOCAR bonds’ circulation period is 5 years, their annual YTM is 5% and interest payment is carried out once in three months.
Interest payments for abovementioned securities have been carried out eight times so far. The next interest payment will be done on January 17, 2019.
The main advantages of the bonds are guarantee of purchase on nominal price, high liquidity, convenience of operations and implementation of interest payments under the schedule.
Owners of SOCAR bonds can borrow long- and short-term loans by pledging their bonds, without losing annual 5% YTM.
SOCAR bonds can be purchased in ASAN service centers No 1 and No 5.
