The Azerbaijani government expects road tax revenues at135.9 million manats ($79.941 million), Report informs referring to the bill "On the state budget for 2023."
According to the document, this is 7.4% more than the approved forecast for 2022.
Next year, 85.9 million manats ($50.529 million) of road tax are expected to be collected by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, and 50 million manats ($29.411 million) will be collected by the State Customs Committee. This is respectively 12.3% more and the same compared to the approved forecasts for this year.
Azerbaijan's 2023 state budget revenues are expected at 30.720 billion manats ($18.070 billion), and expenditures at 33.3 billion manats ($19.560 billion). This is respectively 5.2% and 3.1% more than the approved forecast for 2022. Ultimately, the state budget deficit is expected at 2.579 billion manats ($1.514 billion), down 16.95% year-on-year.
