The retail trade network sold 40.4 billion manats (over $23.76 billion) worth of goods to consumers from January through October of this year, including 22.7 billion manats (over $13.35 billion) worth of food, beverage, and tobacco wares, 17.7 billion manats ($10.41 billion) worth of nonfoods, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The retail trade in real expression rose by 2.9% compared to January-October of 2021, including 2.2% on food, beverage, and tobacco wares and 3.6% on nonfoods.
