Proportion of oil and gas sector in foreign direct investments in Azerbaijan falls

In the first half of 2022, the volume of foreign direct investment in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to $3,220.6 million, 28.6% higher than the previous year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In the reporting period, the share of the oil and gas sector in foreign direct investments was 65.9%, which is 16.9 percentage points less than a year ago.
