Price of SOCAR bonds reaches record level

Baku. 8 October. REPORT.AZ/ The price of SOCAR bonds with less than 10 days left to the next interest payment has increased sharply.

Market-maker of SOCAR bonds PSG capital told Report that the lowest sale price of SOCAR bonds on the trading system of Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) is $1,030.10 on October 8.

This is the highest sale price recorded so far. The sharp rise in price is caused by the upcoming interest payment and increase in demand for bonds.

Individuals and legal entities willing to buy SOCAR bonds can get them only in secondary market for at least $1,030.10.

SOCAR bonds’ circulation period is 5 years, their annual YTM is 5% and interest payment is carried out once in three months.

Interest payments for abovementioned securities have been carried out seven times so far. The next interest payment will be done on October 17.

SOCAR bonds head the securities market in the country for sale and purchase.

The advantages of the bonds are purchase guarantee, high liquidity, convenience of operations and implementation of interest payments under the schedule.

Owners of SOCAR bonds can borrow long- and short-term loans by pledging their bonds, without losing annual 5% YTM.

SOCAR bonds can be purchased in ASAN service centers #1 and #5.
