The volume of overdue loans in Azerbaijan reached 614.2 million manats as of May 1 this year, according to data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to Report, this figure is 0.9% lower compared to April 1.
However, over a broader period, problem loans increased by 17.1% since the beginning of the year and by 22.2% over the past year.
At the end of April, the share of overdue loans in the total credit portfolio stood at 1.9%, unchanged from March, but higher than 1.6% at the end of last year and 1.7% a year earlier.
