Opportunities for developing economic co-op between Azerbaijan, Kenya discussed

The possibilities of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kenya have been discussed, Report informs referring to Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry.

During a meeting with the Kenyan delegation, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov announced the development of bilateral relations between the countries.

It was noted that last year the volume of bilateral trade with Kenya increased by 52%.

At the meeting, information was presented on the economic achievements of Azerbaijan, national priorities, industrial zones, the economic potential of the liberated territories, opportunities created for investors, and Kenyan businessmen were invited to active partnership.

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kenya Joseph Magua Karago expressed satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan, noting the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of technology, infrastructure, transport, logistics, agriculture, tourism and other areas.
