Nakhchivan's 2025 budget recommended for discussion in Supreme Assembly

The budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2025 has been recommended for discussion in the Supreme Assembly. The revenue of the budget is projected at 527.96 million manats, while expenditures are set at 540 million manats.

According to Report's Nakhchivan bureau, the draft budget was discussed at a meeting of the Economic Policy Committee of the autonomous republic's Supreme Assembly.

Committee Chairman Emin Shikhaliyev noted the growth in budget revenue sources, indicating a new stage in the region's economic development.

The autonomous republic's Finance Minister Hasan Ismayilov, Acting Minister of Economy Abbas Ismayilov, and Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Anar Ibrahimov provided detailed information about the draft.

Following the meeting, the Economic Policy Committee recommended the draft budget for discussion at the next session of the seventh convocation of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

For reference, Nakhchivan's budget for 2024 projected revenues of 173.1 million manats and expenditures of 516.37 million manats.
