No trading and settlements on all markets of the Moscow Exchange will be conducted from March 5 to March 8, Report informs referring to the trading platform.
“According to the decision of the Bank of Russia, for March 5, 7 and 8, there are no trading and settlements on all markets of the Moscow Exchange,” the exchange said.
The stock exchange reminded that March 6 is a nationwide holiday, and accordingly, trading and settlements won’t be carried out on this day, either.

Trading on Moscow Exchange's stock section will remain largely closed on Friday although a limited range of operations will be available, the central bank said in a statement.
The central bank said it would make a statement about future operations on the exchange before 09:00 Moscow time on March 5.
An exception is made for the mode "Redemption: Specific orders" with settlements in rubles; derivatives market section, except for derivatives market instruments of the money section (currency pairs) in the "Closing positions" mode, commodity section (precious metals), and mirror contracts for futures on the original sites.
