The anti-inflationary measures implemented by the government of Azerbaijan allowed the price rise to gradually slow down, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) held today, Report informs.
"At the same time, the annual inflation in the 9 months of 2023 made up 10.9% with the price drop in the global food markets and the decrease in inflation in our partner countries," he said.
According to Jabbarov, despite the reduction in world market prices of oil and gas compared to last year, there is a large surplus in the foreign trade balance.
