The main directions of the revenue policy to be implemented in Azerbaijan in 2025 are to accelerate the country's economic development, strengthen competitiveness and increase the attractiveness of the investment climate, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Finance.
As part of these measures, it is planned to optimize the tax burden, support entrepreneurship and stimulate investments in strategic sectors, improve tax and customs administration mechanisms, and increase the turnover of environmentally friendly vehicles.
The main priority areas in these areas are as follows:
- stimulating the investment climate and entrepreneurship, reducing the tax burden on business entities, including providing tax incentives within public-private partnerships, applying tax incentives to the income of microentrepreneurs in some areas of services;
- continuing work to stimulate the turnover of environmentally friendly, safe vehicles and improve infrastructure;
- improving the mechanism of tax and customs administration and legislation in this area;
- improving the system of managing state duties.
