Jabbarov: 2022 remembered for positive trends towards diversification of Azerbaijani economy

2022 will be remembered for positive trends towards the diversification of our economy, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on Twitter, Report informs.

"The mobilization of modern and sustainable sources of economic growth leads to high dynamics in the non-oil sector," he tweeted.

The minister said that in January-November of this year, the volume of funds allocated to fixed capital in Azerbaijan was 13.054 billion manats ($7.7 billion) (+8.2%).

During the reporting period, agricultural products worth 10.384 billion manats ($6.1 billion) (+3.4%) were produced in the country. From the transportation sector, 197.3 million tons (+12.9%) of cargo, 1.466 billion (+35.5%) passengers were transported, and information and communication services worth 2.434 billion manats ($1.4 billion) (+15.4%) were provided.
