Investments in Azerbaijan’s economy will grow from 2023, IMF says

In 2021, the investments in Azerbaijan’s economy drop by 0.2 percentage points to 17.2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Report informs, referring to the IMF.

The amount of total investments in the country’s economy will be 16.8% of GDP in 2022 (down 0.4 percentage points from the previous year’s forecast), 17.8% in 2023 (- 1.1%).

According to the State Statistical Committee, the investments in the economy in January-July 2021 stood at AZN 7,059,300,000, down 12.1% from a year ago. In late 2020, the investments fell by 8.3% to AZN 17,028,100,000.
