Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 12,728.9 million manats ($7.49 billion) in January-September 2023, marking a 21.3% growth in comparison to a year earlier, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil-and-gas sector increased by 18.1%, and in the non-oil-and-gas sector surged by 23.2%.
During the reporting period, 7.482 billion manats ($4.4 billion), or 58.8%, were made in production, 4,607.8 million manats ($2.71 billion), or 36.2%, in services, 639.1 million manats ($375.94 million), or 5%, in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 9,839.7 million manats ($5.79 billion) (77.3%) of the funds directed to fixed capital, and construction and installation work amounted to 9,293.3 million manats ($5.47 billion) (73%).
