Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan made 18,272.3 million manats (over $10.75 billion) in 2022, marking an 5.5% growth over 2021, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 9.8% and in the non-oil-and-gas sector increased by 13.6%.
During the reporting period, 10,611.3 million manats ($6.24 billion) or 58.1% were made in production, 6,735.6 million manats ($3.96 billion) or 36.9% in services, 925.4 million manats ($544.35 million) or 5% in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 14,718.9 million manats ($8.66 billion) (80.6%) of the funds directed to fixed capital and construction and installation work amounted to 13,461.5 million manats ($7.92 billion) (73.7%).
