Gold prices rise almost 3%

December gold futures rose 2.93% to $4,550 per troy ounce, Report informs referring to trading data on the Comex exchange.

The last time the precious metal exceeded $4,550 per ounce was on June 2, 2026.

Gold futures reached $4,544 per ounce (+2.81%), while silver futures for September delivery rose 2.54% to $65.66 per ounce.
