Gold price reaches all-time high in Japan amid Ukraine crisis

Gold in Japan has gained on fears around the situation in Ukraine and traded for 7,122 yens (over $62) per gram, according to Osaka's commodity exchange.

Report informs, citing TASS, that the gold price reached the all-time high.

The previous record was set in Japan on February 21, when a gram of gold traded for 7,030 yens.

Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to hold a special military operation in response to the appeals of leaders of Donetsk and Luhansk 'people's republics.'

The Russian leader said Moscow has no plans to occupy Ukrainian territories.
