Gold may end week with zero dynamics after Fed meeting

Gold prices on February 3 morning fell slightly, close to $1,930 per troy ounce, Report informs referring to the trading data.

Gold may end the week with zero dynamics after the meeting of the US Federal Reserve System (FRS) last week.

The price of April gold futures on the Comex New York Stock Exchange fell by $2.35, or 0.12%, to $1,928.45 per troy ounce. March silver futures fell 0.32% to $23.54 an ounce.

The dollar index (the exchange rate against a basket of currencies of six US trading partners) rose by 0.07% to 101.83 points. A stronger dollar is holding back the value of gold, making it less affordable to buy in other currencies.
